How do you catalogue/index your collection?
I mainly collect fossil plates, so I created an Excel spreadsheet to catalog my collection. It includes fields for formation, period, location, plate dimensions, fossil types (e.g., trilobites, crinoids), condition, and more—designed to filter and organize plate-based specimens.
